Quality checks
In a legal document, a single word can change the meaning and its legal implications. Our quality checks include:
- Giving priority to translators with a background in law or translation experience in the relevant field
- Creating a glossary to keep key legal terms consistent
- Having another translator review the text, with particular attention to statutory references, amounts, figures and dates
- Preserving the original formatting and translating all content, including headers, footers, seals and notes
Confidentiality
Legal documents may contain personal information and trade secrets. We use encrypted channels to transfer project files. After completion, we handle source files and translations according to your instructions and do not retain backups.
