What localization involves
Localization considers how people in a target market use language, their cultural context, local laws and user expectations. Date formats, currencies, the meanings of colors and the associations conveyed by icons can vary between markets. We pay attention to these details so your content reads naturally, makes sense to its audience and serves its purpose.
Our process
1. Define the scope: identify the content to be localized and the target languages.
2. Extract the text: collect translatable content from website code and software resource files.
3. Translate and review: assign native speakers of the target language who know the market, with a separate review of the translation.
4. Reintegrate and test: put the translations back into the original file formats and check display and functionality.
5. Deliver and update: deliver the localized versions and handle subsequent content changes as incremental updates.
